But the home team fought back in the second period as Henderson ran in two short rushing scores before the running back grabbed a reception from Drake Maye at the back of the end zone in the middle of the third quarter to extend the lead to 21 to 7
"That was a big time for him delivering, and it's been fantastic for him to keep earning playing time," Maye commented on Henderson. "He desires to be outstanding."
Justin Fields found Metchie in the latter part of the third period to reduce the lead for the visitors but Andy Borregales booted a pair of field goals in the final period as the Patriots wrapped up the victory
